Bit Hydraulic Horsepower

Bit hydraulic horsepower is a measure of the energy per unit of time that is being expended across the bit nozzles. It is calculated with the equation HHP=Delta P*Q/1714, where Delta P (psi) stands for pressure drop across nozzles, Q (gpm) stands for flow rate.
